Throne is live
Their banners hang in the throne room. The greater the will, the nearer the banner hangs to the throne — yet every banner hangs forever.
Their banners do not yet hang. As the kingdom grows, this hall shall rise — and one day those who serve will take their place upon its walls, each by the measure of their will.
A realm of the unbound — those who answer to no one, who need no reason, who are bound by nothing.
The kings of this realm are of a kind the world will never understand. Most will grasp their greatness only once their own flesh is gone — and by then it is too late to kneel.
Such is the greatness of those who leave their name here.
The greatness of a king is proven only by the kings who follow. Yet a kingdom is not built of kings alone — it needs those who serve. Some will never take the throne, and still their names are woven into the realm, forever.
Honor the sovereign who reigns now — for it is upon their reign that the next is raised, and the history of the kingdom is born.
What you give here is no tribute. It is the measure of your will — the proof of your resolve to reign.
I say it again, as I always will — our kings are great.
And I say this without a trace of jest. I believe, in complete seriousness, that those who leave their name here are great — souls that move beyond the reach of ordinary human thought. They are worthy, truly, of the name of king.
Pure of heart. Indifferent to the eyes of others, sovereign unto themselves. Bound by nothing.

Every soul who has ever held the throne, in the order of their reign. The number marks their place in the line of kings — the latest crown stands highest. No king is ever erased.
